Slurry Cast Recon - For HNB Cigarettes
The Slurry Cast Recon Sheet Production Line by Solbourg Machinery is a cutting-edge system designed for manufacturing both traditional and HNB (Heat-Not-Burn) reconstituted tobacco sheets. Utilizing the slurry cast method, this equipment produces tobacco sheets with high tobacco content, excellent tensile strength, and superior bulk properties. Compared to roller-pressed or paper-making sheets, slurry cast sheets deliver better uniformity, lower fiber content, and enhanced durability, making them ideal for traditional tobacco and HNB applications. The production line is modular, comprising stages such as automatic feeding, powder preparation, fiber refining, slurry preparation, sheet forming, drying, winding, slitting, and optional slicing or shredding. Key features include multi-stage grinding and impurity removal, automated batching systems, low-temperature drying technology, and compact double-layer dryer design, which reduces plant space and labor costs. For HNB applications, the line integrates specialized systems to handle aerosol-generating agents and implements precise homogenization and drying processes to meet international quality standards for heated tobacco products. Solbourg’s slurry cast recon sheet line is available in various capacities ranging from 20 kg/h to 1,500 kg/h, depending on production needs, and is designed to ensure efficient, high-quality output. It has been successfully commissioned for clients across China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Roller Pressed(Extrusion) Recon - For HNB and traditional cigarettes
The roller pressed recon is suitable for both HNB and traditional cigarette production. The production capacity ranges from 100kg/h to 400kg/h.
Paper Making Recon - For traditional cigarettes
A more traditional and large scale approach would be paper making method. Such recon production method usually starts at capacity of 2000kg/hr, making it the largest in scale. However, with over 98% of water content in its slurrys, this method is very energy consuming.
